About the Role
Position Overview
The Sales Manager – Car & Parts Division will be responsible for leading sales operations, developing strategies to expand international business, and building strong client relationships. This role requires deep knowledge of the automotive industry, negotiation skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth in both vehicle exports and spare parts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the Car & Parts division.
Manage client relationships, respond to inquiries, and provide tailored solutions for international buyers.
Oversee sourcing from Japanese car auctions and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth exports.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with clients and partners.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and emerging trends in the automotive export industry.
Lead, mentor, and support junior sales staff in achieving their goals.
Report on sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics to senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in automotive or international trade.
Strong understanding of Japanese car auctions, spare parts, and global automotive markets.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (Japanese proficiency is an advantage).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in building and leading sales teams is a plus.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven sales or business development experience in the automotive industry (cars, parts, or related sectors). Experience in international vehicle export/import is highly preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Japanese automotive markets, global demand trends, export regulations, and logistics.
Skills:
Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management.
Ability to analyze market opportunities and execute effective sales strategies.
Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage accounts and drive revenue growth.
Language: Business-level English required; Japanese proficiency is an advantage.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, International Trade, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Mindset: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to cross-cultural business environments.
Other: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for auctions, client visits, and trade exhibitions.
